Using their favorite little go-to tricks such as lyin’ and denyin’; projection and deflection; and of course their other faves such as gaslighting and flying monkeys they try to weaken and destabilize you so you can’t think straight.
Then when you have to actually NEGOTIATE with these people. That’s when they really get their payoff - because have such trauma brain.
They don’t want you to be able to think effectively during negotiations.
Why? Other than the obvious - that you don’t get what you want out of the deal - that you don’t win - there’s even more - it’s even more insidious than that.
Because they retain control - they get to continue to manipulate you - they get to continue to jerk you around - cost you money - intimidate you and keep you in fear.
